About us

The South Bay Coalition to End Homelessness (SBCEH) is the lead homelessness collaborative in the Los Angeles Continuum of Care (CoC).  Our mission is to transform and end homelessness in the South Bay through education, advocacy and coordination.   Beginning in 2014, we expanded our focus and began including organizations in the City of Long Beach.  Although Long Beach has its own CoC and homeless coalition, the three countywide coordinated access programs - Coordinated Entry System (CES) for Individuals, CES for Families, and CES for Youth (ages 16-24)  - unite our common work to end homelessness in SPA 8.
